To extinguish any loose talk about the ‘war’ and any grievance therein that could be existing in the shape of bad blood between Uganda Cranes head coach, Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic and the majority of the local coaches, the Serbian born national has categorically come out to  shower special praise to the Ugandan coaches.

The local coaches for the elite league, Big League clubs and the leagues downwards have down a great deal in as far as nurturing and identifying potent players for the national teams

The former defensive midfielder whose career at Serbian outfit FC Sabotica was dented by a troublesome knee injury has a well documented history of being in ‘good books’ with the local coaches.

Whereas there is a section of local coaches who have openly testified against the tactics and overall persona of Sredojevic, the Serbian maintains he is now a Ugandan and never at war with anyone.

If you do not know your country, then you do not love your country. I know majority of the places from Nakapiririt, Moyo to Kabale. Local coaches at clubs have done a great job because they are always with the players and i highly value them

Micho leaves Kampala with the CHAN Prospect team  for Masindi for the Kitara regional tours on Friday morning for Masindi where they will play the regional select team the following day.
