The much awaited world Kickboxing Federation (WKF) Muaythai kickboxing fight between the reigning champion Umar Semata and his Australian born opponent, Piotr Lugodzki that failed to kick off at Hotel Africana on Friday night due to rains has been rescheduled for Sunday at Lugogo Indoo arena.
According to the fight co-promoter, Jack Pembe, the fight will be free to all fans;
We are paying back for the loyalty and patience our fans endured on Friday night. The fight shall take place on Sunday at Lugogo indoor arena starting at 7 p.m.
Severe rains are attributed to the fight’s postponement on Friday night.
There will be no under card fights since all of them had been played earlier on Friday.
Semata is in line for the title defence against a tricky Logodzki.
The Ugandan, based in Thailand has 63 professional fights to his name, 40 of these are clear cut victories.
He has registered 20 losses and three draws along the way.
Meanwhile, Logodzki has fought 33 fights, 20 of these are wins, 10 losses and three draws.
