Golola Talent Academy Fundraising Fight: 30th October 2015

Hours after a world title fight between Australian Piotr Lugodzki and Umar ‘The Pain’ Semata, another Ugandan Moses Golola has intensified preparations for a fundraising fight against an Egyptian opponent.

The fight has been confirmed for 30th October 2015 at Aya Hotel, Nakasero in Kampala with the main intention of raising funds for the state of art planned sports academy by Moses Golola, arguably the god-father of kick boxing in Uganda.

Golola, in a residential camp at Kavumba recreational facilities has intensified the training drills ahead of the fundraising fight.

According to the fight promoter, Maureen Mulangira, the bout is intended to raise funds for the Golola Talent Academy in Kazo.

Preparations have progressed well for the two fighters and the other undercard bouts planned on the day with proceeds geared towards the Golola Talent Sports Academy.

Six under-card boxing fights have been planned to spice up the day.

Edward Kakembo will take on Kenyan opponent, Anderson Sifuna, Sula Ssegawa will battle Hakim Waibare, Mude Ntambi will tussle Remmy Yiga.

Another Kenyan fighter, Patrick Amote takes on Meddie Ssebyala, Ken Lukyamuzi battles Mustafa Mongolia and a surprise women fight awaits Diana Turyanabo.

The fights are under Intersport International Promotion with the full blessing of the Uganda Boxing Union alongside Uganda Kick Boxing Federation.
