Moses ‘Of Uganda’ Golola attained celebrity status for his comical statements than the kick boxing prowess, a sport he truly believes he is the ‘god father’.
Predictably, Golola jokes every other time during meal time, press briefings, leisure time, training and guess where else, even at competitive bouts.
Now preparing for Egypt’s Saber Abdelgani at Kavumba recreational center in a boxing contest, Golola believes he has achieved all the he wants in the kick boxing circles and now feels its time to switch allegiance to boxing, a sport he first played.

He cracked jokes throughout the training on Friday as he was also visited by surprise young pupils from Victorious primary school.
I have been a boxer before. Once a boxer, always a boxer and I am Golola Moses of Uganda. I plan a boxing bout on 30th October 2015 against an Egyptian whom I will punch back to the promised land. The main cause is to raise funds for the Moses Golola Talent Sports Academy
Golola reasons that the force behind his academy plans is to show sportsmen how to live responsibly as they plan for retirement.
I am not growing any younger. I have to show the way as i also inspire the young ones.
