The sixth round of the National Rally Championship has received a boost of Ugx 9,500,000 as sponsorship package from Total Uganda.
The sponsorship was announced this afternoon at Total headquarters by the Human Resource and administrative manager Susan Nampala
“We have chosen to sponsor the rally as it forms an important circuit on the NRC calendar where champion is usually determined,” she said.
“Total Uganda is proud to be associated with motorsport since we believe the sport embodies our brand values of energising lives,” she added.
Total will not only sponsor the event, but also two crews of Jon Consta and Susan Muwonge.
“We are extending our sponsorship to Jon Consta and Susan in this rally plus the remaining events.”
“They are assured of lubricants and financial assistance throughout this year.”
Meanwhile the Independence Rally will be dedicated to the late Hajji Juma Nkambwa who died this week on Monday.
The late was the event manager of the Independence Rally.
