Vision Volleyball Camp (VVC) might be comfortable on the summit of the National Volleyball League women’s log, but former champions Ndejje Elites are out to keep the pressure on the champions.

Ndejje are second on the table with 40 points are six points behind VVC and take on Espoir on Saturday at Mubs.

A win with maximum points for Ndejje will get them where they want to be.

“We shouldn’t let VVC build a huge gap between themselves and the rest of us,” said Ndejje’s coach Johnson Kawenyera.

“We are the closest to them, so we have to win our matches in order to keep the pressure on them,” he added.

Ndejje will go into the tie against Espoir aiming for double after winning the first round tie 3-1 (25-23, 25-20, 15-25, 25-13).

“Espoir are fighters and would want to get themselves in those playoff positions, but I believe were badly want this result more than they do,” Kawenyera added. Espoir lie sixth with 30 points from 15 games.
