The battle for the Enduro Championship returns this weekend with riders attempting their last chances for better positions.

Over ten riders will compete in the final round this Sunday at the Fiduga Estate, Mpigi.

Tight competition is expected between current leader Maxime Van Pee and second placed Arthur Blick Jnr.

Van Pee and Blick Jnr are separated by just six points and whoever finishes ahead of the other will be crowned the champion.

However, Van Pee’s participation is still doubted following the injuries he incurred during the sixth round of Motocross in Garuga.

Guest riders from Rwanda are expected to grace the event as well as mountain bikers.

Meanwhile, the battle for the 4×4 challenge also continues on Sunday.

Defending champion and current leader John Bosco will be eying his third championship while second place Joseph Sematimba targeting his maiden championship.

On the same day, the second trial round of Autocross will take place.

Several drivers have picked interest in the latest discipline in Motorsport including 2WD driver Hassan Alwi who confirmed his participation.

Geoffrey Nsamba is another who is expected to take part in his new car the EVO9.

Autocross will automatically register a new winner if the first round winner Sabiiti Muyanja doesnt put in entry by 10am on Sunday.
