Two Rwenzori Group heavy weights, Kirinya /Jinja S.S and Entebbe F.C lock horns as the FUFA Big League returns on Thursday, 5th November 2015.
Kirinya/Jinja S.S Football Club travels to the Lake Victoria peninsular town of Entebbe at Bugonga Stadium.
The match is one of the nine fixtures lined up for the second highest tier league in the country.
Both sides are unbeaten thus far with the Jinja outfit expected to line up forward Musa Bugalo, winger James ‘Demba’ Otim, defender Livingstone ‘C4’ Mulondo, William Otwao and the experienced goal keeper, Joel ‘Vama’ Mutakubya as the key pillars.
Entebbe F.C on the other hand, will bank on the experience of captain Sunday Mukiibi (left back), striker Abram Ndugwa, all rounder Moses Ssekasana, tricky dread locked midfielder Henry Kawuma and the robustness of overlapping right back, Ronnie Katende.
Mark Twinamatisko, head coach at Kirinya/Jinja S.S is well aware of the challenge embedded with an away match of Entebbe F.C’s opposition, a side handled by the tried and tested experienced coach, Richard Makumbi.
Makumbi had a stint at Jinja S.S in the pre-season and only left unconditionally under unclear circumstances.
Thursday’s fixture therefore will present a test of character and revenge in equal measure.
The other games will see Proline host Kireka United at Nakivubo stadium in yet another cracker of sorts.
Synergy takes on Hope Doves at the Masaka Recreational Stadium, Masavu plays host to Citizen from Mbarara at the at the Katabi Gomobolola Play Ground.
Faridah Bulega coached Wakiso United hosts Sun City F.C at Wakiso district headquarters play ground.
The Elgon group only has three games lined up, Bukedea Town Council hosts Lira United, Boma Young entertains Busia Fisheries in Hoima and on colour Artland Katale coached by Richard Pinto Kiwanuka Tamale shall host Sporting United.
