The climax of this year’s National Beach Open and Corporate Woodball Circuits is braced for a big show down on Sunday, 8th November 2015 at Sports Beach, Entebbe.
The two competitions (4th Beach Circuit and 6th Corporate Circuit) will run concurrently at the venue.
The competitions are expected to produce fireworks as top guns and clubs battle for the 2015 individual and club crowns.
The accolades count at the Uganda Woodball Federation’s annual Woodball Player of the Year Awards Gala slated for December this year.
It will be business as usual when top players attempt to outdo others in the Beach and Corporates events that takes into account the points accumulation at the end of next weekend’s decisive showdown at Entebbe.
For the record, Ndejje University team has dominated the National Beach Open and still stands the team to beat by arch-rivals Ndejje Club and Botladz Club while in the Corporate world it’s St. Josephs’ Technical Institute, Kisubi the biggest challenger in both men and ladies category while Bank of Uganda, Ndejje Corporate and Stroke lies in the wings to grab any opportunity waiting.
The current table standings (3rd Circuit) in the Beach Open category has four of Ndejje University men and ladies players running among the top five leaders below with sights on the crown while the Corporates has three men and two ladies from St. Josephs’ Technical Institute as indicated below.
