Uganda Cranes Coach Mulitin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic hasn’t been paid for over four months according to reports from reliable sources.

The Serbian who is in his third year as Cranes coach since signing as the man at the helm in May 2013 was last paid in June but he continues to serve the nation with diligence.

When contacted to comment on the matter, the Federation of Uganda Football Associations Finance Director Decolas Kiiza said the issue is a private matter.

The press should not concern itself with the payment of the coach because it is a personal matter and the coach had not complained.

If this is true, it will be the second time since the Serb replaced Bobby Williamson that he gone some months without pay.

In October 2013, then FUFA Publicist Rogers Mulindwa also confirmed the development but like Kiiza, he also described it as a private matter.

Micho has had arguably his most successful time as Cranes Coach this year winning both games in the 2017 AFCON qualifiers, taking Cranes to CHAN 2016 finals as well as guiding Uganda to the group stages of the FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

He is currently in Ethiopia with the Cranes for CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup where they lost their first game to rivals Kenya.
