Sport-S vs Nkumba Navy – 8pm

Since winning their maiden title in 2011, Nkumba Navy have been regulars in playoffs, actually they made the final the following year but fell 3-1 to Nemostars in the best of five series.

The Entebbe side face Sport-S in game one of the best of three semis on Wednesday at Lugogo,.

In Sport-S, Nkumba are facing the best and arguably strongest side of the year 2015.

Sport-S come into the playoffs as top seed while Nkumba are fourth, but all that will matter less according to the Nkumba’s skipper.

“The most important thing was to make the playoffs, now that we are here, all I say is that the ground is leveled and we know what to do to go past Sport-S”

Nepo was teammates with now Sport-S’ captain Dickens Otim and it will be the first time, Otim faces Nkumba in a playoff since leaving after the 2013 season.

“It’s emotional always to play against Nkumba, I spent six years there and I have fond memories with the side. But now am a sport-S player and I have a mission to accomplish and Nkumba is standing in our way,”

Sport-S would love to make the final again and erase the bad memories of losing to KAVC last season, in Nkumba they face a side that can barely remember how it feels to play in a league final.
