HT: Uganda 0-0 Burundi

Uganda Cranes and the Burundi Swallows remain glued goal-less after the opening 45 minutes in the last Group B match of the CECAFA 2015 Senior Challenge Cup at the mountainous town of Awassa, 250KM south of Addis Ababa.

Both sides applied a tactical game strategy in the match that might determine the group winners at the end of the day.

Micho named two changes to the side that convincingly beat Zanzibar 4-0 on Tuesday.

Bright Stars duo of goalkeeper, Mathias Kigonya and right back, Joseph Nsubuga started ahead of James Alitho and Denis Okot.

There have not been clear cut chances for either sides with Miya, Uganda’s captain coming closer to breaking the dead lock.

Burundi’s Emery Ndayisenga and Didier Kavembavu had two different chances saved by Kigonya in Uganda’s goal posts.

The second half will present lots of options for Micho and his Burundian counter part.

Uganda’s substitute options include; Shafiq Bakaki and Isaac Muleme, midfielder Kezironi Kizito and the striking duo of URA gangly player Frank Kalanda and KCCA young forward Nelson Senkatuka.

Uganda requires a victory to top the group ahead of the quarter finals.
