Betway Kobs and Pirates registered bonus point wins over Sadolin Mongers and Mutoni Warriors respectively to maintain their perfect start to the season.
At a soggy Legends ground, Kobs defeated Mongers in the first game of the day with a 29-10 win to register their second bonus point win having trounced Gulu Elephants in their opening fixture of the season.
Ramadhan Govule, Al Hadji Manano and James Ijongat all touched down as Kobs cruised to their second victory of the season.
Ijongat’s boot from the conversions was also on point on the day as he added the extras for the home side.
With most of the first team players missing the first game, the Mongers tie saw most of them return to action.
Justin Kimono, Derrick Tukwasibwe and team captain Brian Odong were some of the notable absentees on the day with Kimono and Tukwasibwe ruled out with injuries.
The second game of the day saw Pirates pummel Mutoni Warriors 32-00 to register their second derby win. Anthony Kinene’s charged pounced on Ezeey Money Rhino last weekend and seem to be getting everything right so far this season.
The Warriors succumbed to their second loss of the season in as many games.
