SC Villa Vs Simba – Nakivubo stadium @ 4.30pm
Ahead of the clash against Simba SC, SC Villa interim Coach Ibrahim Kirya is wary of the threat the army side poses.
The two clash at Nakivubo stadium on Tuesday with SC Villa seeking a return to winning ways after faltering in a draw against The Saints last Friday.
“They are fighting for their life just like The Saints who we played last week,” said Kirya. “We have to be clinical in front of goal since they really defend well but winning the game is a must,” he added.
The coach is yet to make a decision on whether to field the versatile Isaac Muleme who has been away with The Cranes for CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup in Ethiopia.
“We shall check on him when he returns to training on Monday evening. Nevertheless, we have Yesseri Waibi who has played well in his absence.”
SC Villa missed an opportunity to move into the top five with a stalemate at The Saints and find themselves seated in sixth with 15 points while Simba are just two slots above the base of the 16 team log with seven points.
The corresponding fixture ended 1-1 at Mityana last season while SC Villa won the reverse 2-0.
