Friday’s Fixtures
Women: Ndejje Elites vs VVC
Men: Nemostars vs Sport-S
(VVC and Sport-S lead the series 1-0)

While Vision Volleyball Camp (VVC) are focusing on defeating Ndejje Elites in the sides’ game two of the National Volleyball League this Friday in Lugogo, the latter’s only focus is to have game three.

Of course that to happen, Ndejje have to win game two, to level the series, after VVC won the first game in straight sets (25-17, 25-21, 25-13).

Ndejje’s coach Johnson Kawenyera spoke to Kawowo Sports ahead of the tie.

We need to level series first which is our plan. Anyone who watched the first game will agree that it wasn’t only VVC’s service that gave us a hard time, the issues were within. We failed to be consistent with our own service, our reception and block failed to work and in the end we found ourselves making more points for the opponents

Ndejje might be two time champions and are playing in their fourth straight final, but in VVC they are taking on a side that has won all the eight local competitions they have participated in this year.

A win for VVC tomorrow will put them on the same number of league titles with their opponents (two) and it will be their 18th title in two years.
