Simba Vs Soana FC – Bombo @ 4.30pm
Bombo stadium will witness a match between two teams desperate to get back to winning ways when Simba hosts Soana FC on Friday.
The hosts have drawn their previous two games while Soana haven’t picked maximum points in three outings.
The visitors’ last victory came on October 31 when they edged SC Villa 2-1 but have since lost 2-1 to Vipers, then drew 1-1 with Express and most recently on Tuesday, they played out a goalless draw against Sadolin Paints.
For Simba, their last and only victory of the campaign came on November 11 against fellow relegation candidates The Saints at Namboole.
They have since drawn 1-1 with SC Victoria University and then goalless with SC Villa on Tuesday.
“We are desperate for points and the three games we have gone without a loss have galvanized us,” said Simba midfielder Yasin Mugume.
Simba still languish in relegation with just eight points after eleven games while Soana are sixth with 16 points.
Last season, Simba earned four points off Soana with an away victory and a draw at home.
