Express FC Coach Wasswa Bbosa has singled out goalie Martin Elungati for blame after his side squandered a two goal lead to lose 3-2 against rivals SC Villa.
Through Tony Odur and Ceaser Okhuti strikes inside ten minutes, Express took the lead deservedly but found themselves on the losing side after the final whistle.
“Our goalkeeper didn’t do well,” he stated. “I think he let in easy goals that should have been avoided,” he added.
An angry Bbosa further question the mindset of Elungati who he also blames for loss against Simba.
“Even against Simba, he conceded cheap goals. Perhaps he isn’t fine psychologically or someone infiltrated our camp. Sadly, our other goalkeeper isn’t fit to start games at the moment.”
Bbosa, whose side has now lost three games in succession was however impressed with the performance of other departments of the team especially the forward line.
“Besides, I think we played well and didn’t deserve to leave without a point but that’s football.”
