Lweza play host to bottom placed Maroons at the Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku on Saturday 19th December in the Uganda premier league.
The search for maximum points in months still remains a top priority for the Luzira side.
The team will be without majority of its first team players including midfielder Ronald Orombi, who got an injury in their last encounter against Vipers, Patrick Kaddu, Yahya Luuti, Pius Obuya the youngest player in the league, Shaban Omara and Godfrey Kayemba.
They will however, welcome defender Emmanuel Akol back to the team.
Coach Asaph Mwebaze needs to start winning if they are to achieve their main “objective” of “surviving relegation”.
The visitors will have to maintain utmost discipline and full match concentration if they are to leave Wankulukuku as victors for the first time this season.
They already lost to ground owners Express and the record league winners Villa in the same venue.
A win for last season’s Big league champions will see them record their only second victory this season. the only win to their name this season came against the Saints.
Meanwhile Lweza will be delighted to welcome back Mike Serumagga and defender Nestroy Kizito back to the team.
The duo that was part of the Uganda-Barca legends match missed the team’s goal less draw against Bright Stars in Mwerere.
The team’s top scorer Geoffrey Serunkuma with 4 goals is expected to rise up to the occasion in order to better his goal tally.
A victory for the home side will see them topple URA F.C who are also in action today against stubborn Bright Stars.
The Saturday tie will be the first time these two teams are meeting competitively in the league.
Lweza sit 11th on the table with 14 points while Maroons occupy the bottom place.
