Uganda Cranes striker, Robert Sentongo narrowly survived death by a whisk when a security van belonging to K.K Security Group rammed into his his vehicle at Bweyogerere.
The incident happened on the 1st January 2016 when Sentongo was driving from his residence in Buto Zone.
Narrating the ordeal to Kawowo Sports, the diminutive URA F.C forward, the current Uganda Premier League top scorer (with 9 goals) noted;
I was driving at a slow speed, just a few meters from home. The driver of the K.K Van rammed into my car after he was avoiding a hen which ran in his path.
Sentongo’s car was damaged at the front after a head on collision.

He credits the air-bags in his car that saved him from sustaining injuries.
The air-bags saved my life and i am thankful to God for saving me.
Luckily, neither any injuries nor deaths were reported before the two vehicles were towered to Bweyogerere Police station.
The two parties are expected in court on Tuesday, 5th January 2016.

On a positive note, the striker was one of the 25 players summoned who reported for the Uganda Cranes non residential training on 2nd January 2016 at the African Bible University and he looked lively throughout the session.
The team starts non residential training at the FUFA Technical center in Njeru on Tuesday, 5th January 2016.
