Ugandan footballer Johnson Bagoole has reported Kenya Premier League club Sofapaka to governing body Football Kenya Federation(FKF) over unpaid dues totaling to Kshs.1.8 million.

The player lodged the complaint to the body through his agent Simon Musoke, demanding his money be delivered following as per the two year contract he signed with the club.

According to his agent Simon as reported by Super Sport, Bagoole demands more Ksh.290, 000 as balance on his signing fees.

A statement by the agent to the club read: “The above player (Bagoole) has officially concluded his two-year contract with Sofapaka and has served to his best ability. We however seek your help and guidance as regards to the payment of his outstanding dues equaling to a period of nine months USD 10,800 (approximately Ksh. 1.08 million). Plus USD 2, 900 (Ksh.290, 000) as balance on his signing fees. The sub total therefore is 13,700 (Ksh. 1.37 million).”

“We also bring to your attention another unpaid amount for contract extension of USD 5,000. It is therefore my humble request for help in acquiring the player’s total balance of USD 18,700 and the acquisition of his official letter of release from the club because we can no longer work under such circumstances.”

The former Cranes midfielder joined the Kenyan side in June, 2013 and recently accompanied them to third in the 2015 KPL league with 47 points, before his contract expired.

Several players have deserted the club due to recent financial constraints including Felly Mulumba to Bandari,Collins Shivachi and Ekhaliani Ndolo who have signed with Tusker FC.
