The Uganda Woodball Federation (UWbF) has summoned a squad of 32 players for the final selection trial due on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at MUBS Grounds, Kampala.

The squad which includes 16 ladies and 16 men were picked during the 7th Coral Coatings Uganda National Open Championships last year at Kisubi Technical Institute.

The federation is expected to select the best 6 men and 6 women to form the national team that will represent the country at the 7th World Cup Championship due May 25 – 31, 2016 in Jegu, South Korea.

Players vying to win tickets to the World Cup are scheduled to play a Woodball course of 24 fairways using accumulate strokes format in a stroke competition.

The federation has organized the final selection trial to provide enough time for players to start early preparations for the world event.
