Build up Result: Bright Stars F.C 5-0 KASE F.C

Uganda Premier league club, Bright Stars F.C humiliated Kampala regional side, KASE football club 5-0 on Friday at the Champions Stadium in Matugga.

Stars scored through Joshua Kawadwa’s brace, Farouk Banga, Buruhan Matovu and prodigal son, Anthony Bongole in a one sided match.

Bright Stars F.C still missed the services of three players, captain Bernard Muwanga, goalkeeper Mathias Kigonya and right back, Joseph Nsubuga who only returned to the country on Friday morning from the CHAN 2016 tournament where the Cranes had a dismissal performance.

Fred Kajoba, the head coach at Bright Stars also missed the match because he is the Uganda Cranes’ goalkeeping trainer.

This was Bright Stars’ second build up in a space of three days following the earlier 4-2 loss to Buganda regional side, Kampala University.

The second round of the Azam Uganda Premier League resumes in mid-February.
