Rally enthusiasts were treated to a thrilling action as crews battled out to top the National Rally season opener.
Day one had drivers race through a 5km Super special stage at Pine Ridge, Masaka.
Duncan Mubiru was eager to defend his Mbarara rally win registering the fastest time of 2mins, 39secs to lead the event going into day two.
Kuku Ranjeet settled for second position 3secs behind the leader.
Ronald Sebuguzi finished in third while Christakis Fitidis and Arthur Blick Jnr settled for fourth and fifth respectively
The battle for the win extends tomorrow in Mbarara where crews will cover for stages of which two will be repeated.
