Hardly had the Uganda Cranes team returned from an unsuccessful CHAN 2016 campaign in Rwanda than defender Richard Kasagga Juuko left the country for a second professional stint in the Lebanese Premier league.
The defender’s representative, Jimmy Lukwago confirmed the development to Kawowo Sports;
He left for Salam Zhagarta on a one year loan deal. We are hopeful, all goes well for him and we wish him the best
Kasagga returns to the same club, where he last featured in the 2014-15 season for six months (still on loan).
He has been playing for Uganda Revenue Authority and it remains to be seen what kind of agreement the tax collectors agreed with the player’s agent and the Lebanese club.
Another Uganda Cranes player, Denis Iguma also plays in the Lebanese Premier League for Al-Ahed Football Club.
