Saturday, 13th February 2016: Result (Round of 32):

  • Kamuli Park F.C 1-0 Sun City F.C

Eastern Region football club, Kamuli Park F.C ejected FUFA Big League side, Sun City F.C from this year’s Uganda Cup following a 1-0win in a match played in Kamuli town on Saturday.

Alex Agogo was the day’s hero as he scored the determinant goal that ensured his team’s progress to the round of 16 teams.

Sun City F.C had sent shock signals to many teams still standing in the cup when they ejected the reigning Mapinduzi peace cup holders, Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) football club at the round of 64.

To reach this stage, Kamuli Park F.C needed a walkover to progress to the round of 32 after Masindi’s Boma Young F.C failed to travel to Eastern Uganda on 24th January 2016.

The Round of 32 resumes on Sunday with a host of matches to be played.

The draws for the last 16 teams will be held on Wednesday, 17th February 2016 at FUFA House in Kampala.
