Despite his side’s 1-0 win over Sadolin Paints, KCCA manager Mike Mutebi believes the team performance left a lot to be desired.

Derrick Nsibambi netted the all-important goal for the Kasasiro Boys to dump the hosts out of Uganda Cup at the round of 32.

“I don’t think we played well but then gotten a good result,” he told Kawowo Sports. “Being a knock out competition, I take the result but not the performance,” he added.

The Lugogo based side struggled to impose authority in the game and Mutebi credits the opponents for a good show.

“I think they played well. They caused us problems,” he said.

On Ceaser Okhuti debut

New recruit from Express FC Ceaser Okhuti made his debut for the club and Mutebi described his performance on the day as average.

“It was an average performance from Okhuti just like from the entire team. Perhaps being his first game, he struggled.”

KCCA will be looking to reach the finals for the third season on the bounce after the losing the previous two.

They will have to wait to know their round of 16 opponents in a draw to be held at FUFA House on Wednesday.
