The political state of affairs in the country saw the Uganda Rugby Union call off the mega clash between defending champions Hima Cement Heathens and 2014 winners Betway Kobs.
The two Ugandan rugby super powers were meant to face off on Friday but the game was called off just a few hours to kickoff.
The Union took the decision after being informed by the management of Legends Ruby Grounds that there wasn’t enough security at the venue and that they were not ready to host a big crowd.
But, even after receiving the communication, Heathens players and coaching staff made their habitual trek to the match venue.
The Union has now rescheduled the gigantic tie to Wednesday, 2nd March at the same venue with the rest of the fixtures expected to be played a day before.
