The first ever Futsal mini league kicked off on Tuesday night at the Lugogo Indoor Arena.
There were three matches played on the night. Sauna’s 7-2 victory over Zak Sports was the biggest win recorded.
A set of brace each from Ishaq Sebuliba and Ibrahim Bikamata inspired Sauna to the massive win.
Other goals were scored by Hassan Kasozi, Solomon Musisi and Harunah Lugolobi.
Isaac Mbabazi and Treasure Musiime got the consolational goals for Zak Sports
Emporio defeated Italex 5-3 as Typhoons overcame Patriots 6-3.
Riham started on a false note losing 3-0 to LFC.
Futsal Association of Uganda director. Hamza Jjuuju told Kawowo Sports of the great plans embedded for the body.
It is a bold step we have the mini league in place. This is a plus for the Association. We shall have the league in place soon after the mini league is completed.
The next games will be played on Tuesday.
