The Entebbe derby between Masavu F.C and former Uganda Premier League side Entebbe F.C lived to the anticipated billing.
With a big crowd keenly following the match, egos and tensions on and off Sandy Katabi field of play were bound to erupt.
Former Uganda U-17 CECAFA winning striker, Kenneth Tumusiime drove a low left footed effort past a diving Andrew Ssekandi in the Entebbe goal posts for the only goal on the day, a minute to the half time break.
Tumusiime, a former Entebbe F.C player was later withdrawn for Abasi Kateregga in the early minutes of the second half.
Entebbe F.C would have made amends but missed glaring scoring opportunities through Peter Roch Somoka and the on colour Ddumba Sadala.

The only ugly moment after the match was when a group of Entebbe F.C players attacked the match referees led by Lydia Namubiru but security acted swiftly to arrest the situation.
Masavu F.C now goes second on the log with leaders, Proline F.C maintaining their winning touch following a 2-1 away victory at Wakiso United.

In the Elgon Group, Paidha Black Angels won 3-0 at the Bar Okoro play ground in Zombo district to keep pressure on their West Nile nemesis side, Onduparaka F.C.
