JMC Hippos F.C 0-0 SC Villa Jogoo

Jinja Municipal Council Hippos subjected Sports Club Villa Jogoo to yet another footballing test with a point earned in the barren draw played at the Kakindu stadium in the heart of Jinja town on Saturday evening.

 In a very physical game where tempers flared at some stage, the Jogoos failed to find the back of the net for the second game in a row following yet another goalless draw at Bombo against Simba on Tuesday.

Midfielder Tadeo Lwanga and right back, Misi Katende were cautioned for unsporting conduct in a match SC Villa coach, Ibrahim Kirya lost his cool when he was attacked by a rival fan.

This is the eight draw that the Jogoos have played for since the league kicked off.

SC Villa, who are preparing for the CAF Confederation first round match against Zanzibar’s JKU on Saturday remained stagnated at 7th with 26 points earned from 17 games.

JMC Hippos meanwhile are 10th on the 16 team log after 18 matches played.
