The 13-year-old is anticipating a tight contest after all his competitors upgraded to stronger bikes than his.
Both Alestair Blick and Fatuh Kiggundu own latest models of Yamaha250 while Omar sits on KTM125
However, Omar consoles himself with a belief that its not always about the bike but the rider.
“True Alestair and Fatuh’s bikes are stronger than mine, but it doesn’t scare me at all because it’s the skills that mostly matter,” says Omar.
“I have done a lot of exercise to keep myself fit and set for the race, I will do my best and go by whatever comes out of it,” he added.
Omar was undefeated in Busiika last year and he is confident the streak will continue on Sunday.
Kiggundu currently leads MX2 class with 60points.
