Hima cement Heathens ensured Betway Kobs remain within range when they defeated Mutoni Warriors 72-20 at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds on Saturday.

It is not about winning for the top two sides anymore, the winning margin will matter in the title race and Robert Sseguya’s charges had no mercy against the relegation threatened Legends side.

Heathens remain 4 points off the pace but Sseguya is confident it is just a matter of time and his troops will be where they belong, at the top.

“We just have to remain focused, we are playing well and I believe we have a big chance,” he told Kawowo Sports recently.

Kobs made light work of Makerere Impis to continue with their superb run. With five games to play, the Brian Odong captained side remain unbeaten as they look to beat their arch rivals to the title.

Meanwhile Black Pirates registered their first win of the second round when they defeated Gulu Elephants 25-09 in Gulu.

Anthony Kinene’s boys had lost three in a row and will be hoping to build onto the Gulu win if they are to finish in third place.

Ezeey money Rhino stunned Sadolin Mongers 16-15 at the ‘House of Pain’ in Entebbe to maintain their second round form.
