Kenyan Rugby star Joshua Chisanga was the talk of town on Monday following his impressive performance that aided Newcastle Falcons ‘A’ grab a 24-15 bonus point win over Gloucester in the AVIVA A-League.
Chisanga came off the bench to touch past the try line twice, destroying Gloucester’s first half 12-7 lead. He replaced lock Harry Snowdon in the 57th minute and delivered off identical catch and drive lineouts.
The Former Homeboyz player was signed by English top tier side Newcastle Falcons in March on an 18-month deal and has been fruitful according to Newcastle Director of Rugby Dean Richards.
“Joshua has been brought to our attention and we’ve been very impressed with what we have seen so far,” he told The Star. “He has signed with us until the end of next season and we think there is a lot of talent there ready to be honed and nurtured.”
