Edrisa Lubega’s rich goal scoring form continued when the fast paced forward netted Uganda Hippos goal as they held Rwanda Junior wasps to a one all draw.

Lubega canceled Blaise Itangishaka’s opener and put up a man of the match performance with tireless lung-bursting runs.

He believes the goal is an opening to his account in national team colours;

“I am happy we earned a point away from home. I thank my teammates for the result. I want to continue scoring” Lubega, said with calmness after the game played at Kigali Regional stadium, Nyamirambo.

Lubega raced onto a long ball from Umar Mukobe, who played as the right back held off defenders and slotted home the equaliser.

He is the current top scorer in the FUFA Big League with 18 goals to his name in 16 games.

The fearless mentality in the young forward will definitely project him to new scales once well handled and guided.
