Simba 0-0 Lweza
Simba remain deep in the relegation battle following a 0-0 home draw against Lweza on Saturday.
The army side remain 4 points from safety with only 9 games left to play while Lweza moved a step ahead to 11.
A 68th minute red card for Lweza’s Swaibu Mudde was the major incident of the game.
The game started off in a tense atmosphere with both sides needing three points from the encounter but the visitors had the better share of possession in the first half The second period saw an improvement for the hosts, but this was partly due to the numerical advantage they over their opponents.
Emma Kayoowa was introduced moments before they were reduced to 10 as the visitors kept hunting for the opener.
However, Lweza ended the game with one man less after Mudde getting a second yellow card in the 68th minute.
The game ended 0-0 Simba are second from the bottom with 16 points while Lweza sit 11th with 27 points .:43:57
