The old school adage ‘when One door closes, there is bound to be another that awaits quick opening’ is indeed a reality for Uganda’s footballer, Hamza Olema.

Hours after mutually terminating his contract with Sudanese premier side, Merriekh Kostic F.C, three clubs have openly expressed interest in the services of the talented fast paced and dribbling winger.

South Sudan’s champions, Atlabara, Sudan’s Al Shandy and now Ethiopian side, Adama City are in the race for the gem.

Before joining Merriekh Kostic, Olema was contracted with Altabara F.C and the Sudanese money moguls forked $ 10,000 to buy out his contract.

With seven games under his belt at Kostic, Olema felt under utlilized and requested for a transfer that was granted.

Now based at Nsambya in Kampala (Uganda), Olema is a free agent with a series of offers from Altabara, Al Shendy and Adama City F.C from Ethiopia.

“I am resting after disappointments earlier this year. I will make the right decision in the next 30 days with some advise” he told Kawowo Sports on Thursday.

Adama City head coach, Amalonyi Alishari is a keen admirer of Olema’s quick change of pace style and work ethic.

His former coach at Atlabara, Leo Adraa, a Ugandan is more of a parent to the 21 year old player.

“We talk to coach Adraa a lot but there certain things i must discuss with the coach if i am to make a return” the soft spoken footballer adds.
