Express Football Club insist they will not honour their Uganda Cup four minute match against Kitara Airtel on Thursday according to head coach Wasswa Bbosa.

In the same vein, the Red Eagles have threatened to pull out of the Uganda Premier League.

Express F.C head coach, Wasswa Bbosa told Kawowo Sports;

We shall not travel to Hoima and we have decided to pull out of the league also.

It is unfair to travel to Hoima again at a place where we were battered by fans.

According to our programme, we are resting today (Thursday) and resume training on Friday

Kitara-Airtel football club is supposed to host giants, Express F.C in the continuation of the aborted Uganda Cup match that was stopped in the 86th minute when the two clubs faced off on Valentine’s day eve.

Only four minutes and added time is meant to be played in the Round of 32 battle after the FUFA Competitions Committee ruled that the game should resume from where it stopped.
