Jas Mangat comfortably won the second round of National Rally Championship in Kabale.
Mangat extended his day one dominance with two stage wins on Sunday.
He posted 2hrs 15mins 43secs to register his first NRC finish with six stage wins out of the ten.
“It really feels good to set the pace for others and we are so happy to have won the rally,” said Mangat. “The event was really good, the whole organisation, safety and others made it happen for us,” he added.
Mangat now stands second; 40 points behind NRC leader Ronald Sebuguzi.
Duncan Mubiru posted the second fastest times of the rally.

The 2015 NRC champion Arthur Blick Jr took the third spot while Hassan Alwi convincingly finished in fourth with three stage wins.

Current NRC leader Ronald Sebuguzi settled for fifth overall.
The highly contested event could not pass without causalities.
Andrew Desh Kananura, Omar Mayanja, Christakis Fitidis, Adam Rauf Essa who were shattered due to mechanical problems and rolls.

Ismail Ortega topped the 2WD class followed by Leila Mayanja and Zamin Mwananteba of Burundi.
Meanwhile, among the four Brundian crews that started the event, only Zamin Mwananteba and Nadir Jawed crossed the finish line.
Sultan Kalula retired after being involved in an accident on Saturday while mechanical problems had Mohammed Roshanali and Arif Karmal drop out.
The third NRC round is set for early May on 6th-8th in Kyotera, Masaka.
