Musa Mugera became the fourth winner of the Pepsi ‘drink and peel’ promotion and was on Tuesday morning presented with a dummy ticket by Pepsi officials in his home town of Luweero.
Whereas he doesn’t have a passport yet, Pepsi will do everything to ensure Mugera makes the trip to Milan on May 25th to be able to watch the final on the 28th of the same month.
“No one in my family has ever stepped on the plane and I am looking forward to being the first,” Mugera confessed to Kawowo Sports after receiving the dummy ticket from Pepsi’s Tracy Kakuru. “I am really grateful to Pepsi for the opportunity and I urge everyone to try their luck, they could be the next winners,” he added.
Mugera sent messages to 8888 about thirteen times before finally receiving the call that he was one of the lucky winners.
Like all the first winners, Mugera is a Manchester United but he is ready to watch any of the two sides that will make the final.
Mugera now joins Elly Muhwezi, William Musinguzi and Abel Kafanka among those that will have a chance of accessing the San Siro stadium stands on the day.
Six more Ugandans are expected to win tickets to the match.
