Andrew Desh Kananura is a man determined to go for victory in this weekend’s SMC Rally in Masaka and Rakai district.
Kananura is yet to appear on the rally finishers list this year.
“After my drop out, am hungry for a win. I have not won since Pearl so am going for a podium in Masaka,” he strongly told Kawowo Sports.
The rally starts on Saturday with a super special stage at Pine Ridge and later two night stages.
“Am not going to try and win the night stages, but on Sunday I will be going like crazy I need a podium finish,” he asserted.
Desh has often been tipped for top positions in the last two NRC events just for misfortunes to stand in his way.
He is yet again listed among the probable crews to finish in a top positions this weekend.
He will have Moses Matovu calling the notes in a Mitsubishi Evo X
