“Any good things take time to come,” those were the words of Eddie Okila as online shopping company GoodsExpress.com unveiled National Volleyball League champions Nemostars as their partners on Friday morning.
GoodsExpress.com will sponsor the three time volleyball league winners for two international and two local tournaments on an evaluation basis before they decide on a long time deal.
The partnership that is worth Shs15.5m was timely as the side left later that afternoon for Kenya, Eldoret to participate in 10th edition of the Amaco / Paul Bitok International Volleyball Tournament.
In Eldoret, Nemostars were drawn in Pool D alongside Prisons Mombasa, Kenya Port Authority (KPA).
Nemostars started in a small way and over the years, we have met our targets, one of those working very hard to be better than everybody in the country which we have been able to achieve
Said Nemostars patron Neko Muduse-Ojala at the unveiling before adding
We have been able to achieve that while struggling financially, the deal we have just signed with GoodsExpress.com will go a long away in boosting over activities. All we can promise is that we shall play harder to make sure we continue to grow with the new partner
Apart from the Amaco / Paul Bitok International Volleyball Tournament, GoodsExpress.com will also be at the forefront of Nemostars participation at the 2016 Rwanda Genocide Volleyball Tournament, where they finished third last year.
The other is the Dr. Aporu Okol Memorial Volleyball Tournament and any other local tournament of their choice in a deal that involves getting the kololo based club branded jerseys
