The Korea bound Uganda Woodball World Cup team was officially flagged off on Thursday at the National Council of Sports headquarters in Lugogo, Kampala.
NSC general secretary, Nicolas Muramagi officiated at the brief ceremony.
Uganda Woodball Federation (UWbF) president, Paul Mark Kayongo who is traveling as leader of delegation vowed to return with the best scores.
Kayongo, who is also the Africa Woodball Federation boss appreciated Uganda National Council of Sports (NCS) and the department of Physical Education and Sports who contributed 2 return tickets to the team.
The chairman of the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce in Uganda, Dr. Jeff Lin contributed Shs1M, Bank of Uganda sponsored Norbert Dramani, William Osire Likiriat and Godwin Ssenyondo Nakaana as Ndejje University has managed a return air ticket.
This will be the fourth year that Uganda is playing at the Woodball World Cup.
