Round three of the 2016 Africa rally championship revs off this weekend in Zambia’s capital Lusaka.

The Zambia international rally provides home favourite Muna Singh Jr with the opportunity to close the gap in the ARC title chase.

Singh Jr heads is 11points behind ARC leader Don Smith from Kenya.

The 21-year-old is optimistic of collecting maximum points to strengthen his ARC title bid.

“Well I know that my pace is faster than Don’s, but I will start reasonably fast and keep an eye on Don through out the rally.”

“I am only focused on scooping the 25 points to add to my ARC quest,” he says.

Singh will not only battle for the ARC points but also the National points.

“I am really stuck between the two but I think I will really focus on the ARC. I have to finish in this event,” he asserted.

Singh’s position on the ARC is expected not to change after the event incase Smith finishes.

“Yes ARC standings may not change much but I will keep in mind that I still have 3 rounds after this event.”

He will have his sister Jasmeen Singh calling the pace notes in the Subaru Impreza.
