Uganda Cranes contingent to Zimbabwe has safely arrived at Harare International Airport on Monday afternoon.

The team of 13 players left Entebbe International Airport via Kigali and Addis Ababa.

At the Bole International Airport in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, the team had picked two players – Robert Odongkara and Isaac Isinde who play with St. George Football Club in the Ethiopian Premier League.

After a three hour stop-over in Ethiopia, they embarked upon a three and a half hour journey to Harare.

Meanwhile, at Harare Airport, Yassar Mugerwa of Orlando Pirates arrived from South Africa by noon.

Mugerwa set foot in Harare at noon (Local time, one hour ahead of Uganda)

The team arrived fourty minutes after noon and they were received by the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) competitions director, Weston Mahande.

They are accommodated at the lavish Cresta Oasis Hotel and Apartments.

The team will conduct their maiden training session on the fading astro turf of Rufaro Stadium, Mbare found within Harare.

Zimbabwe Warriors host the Uganda  Cranes in a friendly on Tuesday afternoon.

Uganda is due to travel to Zimbabwe’s neighbour, Botswana as the Warriors will host the Flames of Malawi in the AFCON 2017 qualifier.
