Uganda Cranes continued with the acclimatization training on Thursday evening with yet another session south of Zimbabwe in the second largest city, Bulawayo, over 440 KM from the capital, Harare.
This followed Wednesday’s training at Prince Edward High School in Harare.
The team flew from Harare late Thursday evening and drove straight to the Hartsfield Rugby stadium for body conditioning and stretching drills that lasted at least 40 minutes.
Standard Liege midfielder, Faruku Miya who had been rested took part in the training session.
Since arriving in Zimbabwe, Miya only managed Monday’s session at Rufaro before the medical team decided he takes a rest for two days.
In Bulawayo, they are accommodated at Rainbow Hotel from where they will depart on Friday morning for the border town of Plumtree, about 92 KM away.
The team is set to train at Francistown sports complex match day venue on Friday evening as permitted by the CAF and FIFA competitions.
Uganda is second behind Burkina Faso in group D with 7 points, same points as the West Africans.
Botswana has six points and Comoros, who host Burkina Faso this same weekend have three points.
