“The season should be bigger and better because that’s our goal,” NBA Junior League Country Project Manager, Grace Kwizera revealed at the launch of the season held at Serena Hotel on Friday morning.

The season indeed promises to be bigger and better, the different schools will each receive a kit similar to that of the NBA team they are named after.
NBA Experience
Unlike last season, this time round the Most Valuable Player at the end of the season will be given a feel of the NBA.
A trip to South Africa awaits the player that performs better than the rest.
Two NBA Stars coming
Last year, Miami Heat forward Luol Deng graced the finals of the Junior League and that was just the start of frequent visits by NBA stars.
This season will see two other stars visit Uganda with one expected in a few weeks’ time while another will come for the finals.
Namilyango, Lubiri out
Namilyango College and Lubiri SS have been shown the exit for different reasons. Lubiri forfeited their conference semifinal game last season.
Standard View, Ntinda View and Kisubi High are the other schools to face the knife and will be replaced by Aga Khan, GEMS Cambridge, Watoto School, St. Mark Namagoma and Seeta High.
