The 2016 Luwangula Football tournament officially kicked off with three matches played on Sunday.
After a dismissal performance for Ssingo in the Masaza Cup where they lost four matches, the team eventually got the footing right in the Luwangula Cup.
They triumphed 2-0 over Bugerere at the Mityana Ssaza ground.
Busiro were shocked at their Nabbingo home, falling 1-0 to Buwekuula whilst Buddu won at Masaka Recreational Stadium 2-1 against visiting Bulemeezi.
In the only Masaza cup match played, the Kyaggwe versus Buluuli match produced eight goals with no winner because the game ended in a draw.
The matches resume this weekend.
