It was more of proving a point than battling for points in the fourth round of the Motorcross Championship in Busiika.
All riders came with a new strategy to tackle their rivals, something that came along with a breathtaking action from the first heat to the last and kept the fans screaming throughout.
MX2 and 85 provided more tense battles.
Following Fatuh Kiggundu’s dominant performance in the last three MX events, his close rival had other ideas this time round. Ali Omar Yasser was in for a contest giving Kiggundu a harder time this time round.

The 13-year-old Yasser on a less stronger bike put up a tight fight, one that resulted into a worrying fall in Heat two. But second place was all he was good for despite the spirited challenge.
“I came for this race to have fun and to win, and if I had not fallen down I would have won,” said Yasser.
Fatuh Kiggundu extended his class lead to 46 points ahead of Yasser.
MX85, was a do or die for Fortune Sentamu and Ben Nsumba since it would break the points tie between the two riders.
However, it was easy for Sentamu to top the class as he scooped all three heats.

In MX1, Maxime Van Pee despite the absence of his competitor Arthur Blick Jr, he had to fade off Asaf Natan and Barak Orland possible challenge to lead the class.
“Am so happy for the another win, I like the fact that the fans are enjoying themselves with the battles from each class,” said Van Pee.
Imran Nkurunziza extended his lead in the MX65 despite finishing second behind Malcolm Lubega with Habib Kiggundu in third.
Female rider Isabella Blick maintained her MX50 lead after winning over the weekend. She now leads the class, 38 points ahead of rival Gift Sebuguzi.
The battle for the Junior Class had William Blick and Miguel Katende fighting for points. Blick topped the three heats to extend his lead.
Meanwhile, Africa’s best MX freestyler Nick De Wit from South Africa summed up the fun with his astonishing freestyler moves.

He had the all crowd pay attention to him as he pulled off his strokes.
“Ugandan fans have not changed from the last time I left, I like the way they support the sports and me as well,” said De Wit.
