Former Onduparaka football club head coach Allan Kabonge Kivewala is in advanced talks with Big league outfit, Masavu F.C.
Kabonge, a CAF ‘C’ certified coach helped to guide Arua based club Onduparaka gain promotion to the Azam Uganda Premier league and reach the final of the 2016 Uganda Cup which they lost 3-1 to Vipers at Nakivubo stadium.
Masavu recently released eight players as they plan to recruit massively ahead of the new season.
The Katabi based club lost their former coach, Shafiq Bisaso who has since moved to Sports Club Villa as assistant coach to Deo Sserwadda.
When contacted for a comment, Kabonge who plans to upgrade to CAF ‘B’ level come January 2017, he confirmed his availability before all the teams.
When my contract ended with Onduparaka, it meant I am free to discuss with any club that needs my services.
Kawowo Sports has established that Kabonge will meet Masavu officials on Eid Mubarak day in a highly secretive location in Entebbe.
As a coach, Kabonge won the Bika Bya Buganda football tournament with Mmamba Gabunga before he guided Nkumba University to third place in the international university games.
In his playing days, he won the Uganda Cup tournament with Victors football club.
