I have heard of Ochaya’s invitation. As a club, we are yet to get a formal letter. We shall react accordingly in case the letter is in our midst
Ochaya’s national team coach, Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic expressed delight when he heard the news of Ochaya’s invitation.
This is good development for the club, player and country. In 2013, when we had the Angola and Senegal matches, 80 percent of our players were not active. This time round, we shall not allow to leave a stone un-turned in order for all our players to be in full action so that coming the 3rd September 2016, all Ugandans can have a reason to be happy.
Ochaya is a stylish contemporary left back, blessed with enviable amounts of calories to perfectly execute lung-bursting runs down the left flank with quick reaction and vision to deliver that accurate diagonal ball.
He has a venomous shot with expert execution of the dead balls given varying distances.
In case he passes the trial stint with the ‘Clever Boys’, he will join the bandwagon of Ugandans currently in the South African top flight league.
Uganda Cranes team skipper, Geofrey Massa is at Bloemfontein Celtics, goalkeeper Denis Onyango is active at the reigning league champions, Mamelodi Sun downs and Yassar Mugerwa has been at Orlando Pirates.
Chrizestom Ntambi has been playing in the second division with Vasco Da Gama.
